The orphan center was originally set up in 2006 when Sekela Mbwiga saw a need in her village and wanted to provide assistance to the orphans in Uyole. Until this day the children meet in Sekela’s home.
In November 2013 the orphan center became a ministry of World Mission Outreach and is now known as Naomi Ruth Bread of Life Orphan Centers.
The orphan center is based in Mbeya, in the south west of Tanzania, Africa.
Currently the children live with their extended family and primarily attend the center five times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. All children are provided with food, clothing, medical assistance, school fees and school related expenses, prayer support and Biblical education.
